The city will conduct six tasks to realize Directive 30 including (1) strengthening the leadership of the Party and Party members on
consumer protection; (2) thoroughly overcoming irresponsibility, insensitivity, and
the lack of drastic determination and clearly assigning tasks; (3) building criteria to assess the enforcement of customer protection; (4) assessing
implementation during regular thematic meetings; (5) perfecting the legal
framework; (6) reinforcing investigations and supervision; promoting social engagement; and spurring international cooperation on customer protection within ASEAN.
Earlier, Ha Noi marked Vietnamese Consumer Rights Day (March 15) for the eighth time.
Major manufacturers and distributors also arranged 60 points of sales at supermarkets and trade centers, such as Vinmart, Hapromart, BigC, V , Mediamart, Pico, HC and EcoMart. To protect consumer interests, the Ha Noi Department of Industry and Trade activated a hotline, 024.1081, to answer questions and provide advice for customers ./.
