The three-day fair is expected to attract around 200 exhibitors from Germany, Spain, Japan, the Republic of Korea, Singapore, Thailand and China. It will run from December 5-8 at the National Exhibition Construction Centre.
It will be a good opportunity for businesses to advertise their machines and technology, seek new partners while fostering technical transfers, the event’s organiser said.
Held by the Ha Noi Advertising & International Fair JSC (Hadifa), this year’s event will gather leading brands in the construction, transportation, and mining industries.
It has been described by experts as one of the leading international trade exhibitions in the field.
In 2017, the event attracted over 100 exhibitors from 10 different countries and territories, with over 3,000 visitors. Of those brands on display, 70% were foreign names. Notable exhibitors include TekMac, the official distributor of XCMG products; UMAC, agent of JLG; Teupen; Nippon Sharyo; and UMG Viet Nam, which distributes Volvo, UD Truck, and Matador.
Contech Viet Nam 2018 is expected to develop in both quantity and quality with the attendance of well-known construction machines such as Liebherr, Caterpillar, JCB, Soilmec, Skyjack, Sunward, and Doosan.
Machinery, equipment and spare parts are among the country’s major export items over past seven months with a turnover of US$9 billion, up 27.1% year-on-year, according to the General Statistics Office.
