Vice Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee Le Hong Son on December 6 visited and presented a gift to Senior Lieutenant General Pham Thanh Ngan, former Head of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army.

Son extended the greetings and congratulations of the city's Party Committee and government to Senior Lieutenant General Pham Thanh Ngan on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the Vietnam People's Army, recognizing his contributions to the national independence struggle as well as to the building and development of the armed forces and the country as a whole.
