According to the dispatch, the Hanoi People’s Committee has assigned the Department of Agriculture and Environment to conduct public awareness campaigns and disseminate legal knowledge on the conservation, exploitation, and use of biodiversity resources in local nature reserves and natural heritage sites.
The department is also responsible for compiling and reporting implementation results in line with current regulations.

At the same time, Hanoi will implement ecosystem maintenance and habitat expansion activities in the Huong Son Nature Reserve, aiming to preserve the endangered and rare white-cheeked gibbon species in the Huong Son Special-Use Forest.
Conservation efforts will also focus on protecting wild and migratory bird species and their habitats in the Van Lang islet area. These activities are scheduled for implementation from 2026 to 2030.
The Hanoi Department of Tourism has been assigned to develop models that connect ecotourism products across nature reserves and natural heritage sites in the Red River Delta region.
The department will also promote ecotourism in Ba Vi National Park and support agricultural and rural community tourism, with a focus on showcasing the historical and scenic values of the Huong Son complex (Perfume Pagoda) in Huong Son Commune. These initiatives are set to be implemented from 2026 to 2030.
Relevant departments, agencies, and commune-level People's Committees are instructed to actively coordinate efforts, based on their functions and responsibilities, to effectively implement regional linkages in the conservation, exploitation, and sustainable use of biodiversity resources at nature reserves and natural heritage sites across Hanoi within the Red River Delta region.
